These bikes are THOUSANDS cheaper than the Jap equivalent (when new). They're selling a 700 for $4495 brand new at my local dealer. The same power/CC equivalent Jap bike is nowhere near that price. About the only reason to avoid a rancher would be lack of speed and ride quality. If your looking for a workhorse then it's the perfect machine, but if your looking for a trail machine there are definitely nicer machines. Buy a 700 grizzly. The ranchers ride terrible, are underpowered and slow.

Ive owned a grizzly punched out too 690 and a raptor 770. The grizzly is really a refined machine with a great motor. I picked up a 2022 cfmoto 1000 eps lx 2up yesterday.
