Putting On the Heart Rate Monitor; Heart Rate Storage for Timed Activities; HRM-Pro Running Pace and Distance. Tips for Recording Running Pace and Distance; Accessing Stored Heart Rate Data; Pool Swimming; Caring for the Heart Rate Monitor i as well am having problems with the garmin chest strap and the fenix 5. i use it on the bicycle, and when i'm riding easy it will sometimes show high HR around 160 for a long time. then it seems like passing cars will make it go to 150 for a long time. then when i ride extremely hard, the HR will read 140. it also gets stuck on numbers as well.
If you have problems pairing the heart rate chest strap with your watch, or the monitoring performance degrades, you can reset the heart rate chest strap or replace its battery. Make sure there are no other heart rate monitor chest straps in the surrounding area that are interfering with your product. The battery in the heart rate chest strap
Opened it up and just pulled the battery out and then out it back again, devices found it immediately. But again there was one small water drop in the case. And now today it's the same all over again, can't connect to my HRM Pro. I've never bathed or swam with my Pro, only used for running. Rinsed of after each use and washed after the 7th use.
Garmin HRM-Pro (£119 / US$129.99 / AU$159.00) Designed for multi-sport use, the HRM-Pro is the most advanced heart rate strap Garmin produces. It’s also one of the most expensive options available.
My HRM stopped working but a new battery didn't seem to fix it. I removed and replaced the battery about 20 times with no success. I was just about to throw it in the bin but I found this post. I really didn't believe it would work but it was a worth a try as a last resort. Amazing! My Edge 1000 found the sensor immediately. Many thanks for
If you sell the HRM Pro and if the client tries only once to change the battery as the manual states and the product after that ends up dead, SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE PRODUCT. Back in the day I bought and HRM-Run, tried to change the battery and wow, it didn't work. I contacted the support and they sent me a HRM Pro, nice one.

I've had the watch for less than a week, and it worked perfectly for a few days then a whole load of functions just stopped working. Heart rate monitor, step counter, compass: all just completely unresponsive. I've made sure the software is up-to-date, done soft resets and a full master reset. Same problem here. Garmin Dual HRM worked fine for several months, first paired via Zwift Companion App to Zwift running on a very old Macbook Pro, then via ZCA to Zwift running on a brand new Lenovo running Windows 10. ZCA running on an iPhone 6s. The problem might have started with updating to iOS 13.5.1, but I’m not certain on the timing HRM-RUN stopped working suddenly. I've had an HRM-Run since December. It was working fine until Wednesday when it took several minutes for my Fenix 6X Pro to recognise it. Since then it seems invisible to the watch. I've changed the battery. It worked once but nothing since.

It also seems that even when the heart rate monitor is "functioning" the stress and body battery readings are completely thrown off. I have invested a lot in garmin over the years, but I am very disappointed with this current lack of performance. Please help, before I am forced to start exploring the world beyond Garmin!

Christian_Wiesinger (Christian) May 4, 2020, 12:18pm 1. Since the latest bigger update a few days ago my Heart Rate (HR) Monitor from the Garmin Edge 1030 Bundle is experiencing dropouts. The dropouts are usually just 2 seconds long, HR monitor immediately reconnects itself without me manually doing it. Furthermore, the red line showing the My Garmin Device Will Not Pair or Display Data From My Chest Heart Rate Monitor | Garmin Support. Garmin Support Center. Garmin Support Centre is where you will find answers to frequently asked questions and resources to help with all of your Garmin products. Tried restarting watch, forgetting the HRM on the watch and trying to search again. Now the watch can’t find the HRM anymore. Battery was last checked today, and was OK. Changed the battery in the HRM about 3 months ago.
It has worked for a couple of rides, then died, then worked with issues (like a dip to 0 every 5 minutes or so) and then stopped working again. It connects but no signal. Come on guys, every other application on any other device (windows, ios or android) works just fine with the same garmin dual hrm strap, except from zwift!
